One Year Ago...

I FINALLY became Mrs. Jacob William Goetze!  What a joyful day that was! I am so thankful to be married to this wonderful man!  This has been one of the most wonderful and rewarding years of my life.  I have definitely learned a lot about Jake and I didn't know!  (Which is funny because I thought I knew a lot).  I enjoy every minute that I get to spend with him and I am looking forward to many more years of marriage!

Can you believe its already been a year?!?! CRAZY!!!

WCHS Alumni Game

In high school, Jake played for the Wake County Homeschool Worriers baseball team.  A few weeks ago, they called all the alumni back to the field for their First Annual Alumni Game.  We had so much fun at this Mini Reunion.  It was so fun to see players that Jake played with in high school and catch up with their families.
Picture before the game with most of the Alumni (some showed up at game time)

Praying before game
National Anthem
(I love that you can see a few guys from the current WCHS team while the Alumni are lined up on 3rd base line)

All I can say is that my man STILL GOT IT!  I love watching him play baseball/softball!  This was such a fun night to catch up with old friends and let these guys play some ball together again!

1 Year at Wells Fargo

Jacob has officially been an employee at Wells Fargo for an entire year!  It is crazy how quickly time has gone by.  I am so thankful for how hard my husband has worked while at Wells Fargo!  Keep up the good work Baby!  SO PROUD OF YOU!

Swinging with T

A couple week ago, Jake and I kept our nephew Thomas.  Oh how we love our Thomas so much.  He loves to play on the playground, so Uncle Jake took him on the swing.  Just look at that face!  He is loving it!

Middle Console

Trigger LOVES to go for a ride in the car.  When I ask him "Trigger, do you want to go for a ride?", his tail starts wagging and he runs to the door.  Since he was a puppy weighing 3.5 pounds he liked to ride on the center console in Jake's truck.  My jeep does not have a center console, so he sits on the seat.  When he was little, he was small enough to curl up and rest his chin on the edge.  As you can see by the pictures below, he no longer fits comfortably on the console as he now weighs 10 pounds.  He tries really hard to lay down, then he will nudge my arm as to say "Please let me rest my head on your arm since I'm too big to lay down."

If you can't tell, I LOVE my sweet Trigger.  He makes us laugh all the time.  Puppies are so much fun!

Playing CatchUp

I am so sorry it has been so long since I blogged.  We have been super busy lately with lots of changes.  I will try very hard to update our blog more often starting Monday so I can keep everyone posted about our newlywed experience.  Summer is here and we will be going to the beach next week, so stay tuned as we celebrate our first anniversary!
